The annual United Methodist Women’s (UMW) Bazaar is held in conjunction with the Fall Flea Market.  Proceeds from the Bazaar support church and local mission efforts.  Funds are raised through the sale of items from the Tasters’ Booth, the Market Place, the Silent Auction, and the Clothes Closet.

Items for sale include hot food, pastries, sandwiches, arts and craft items, artificial bouquets, furniture, clothing, books, gift baskets, as well as some really neat creations that are sold by silent auction and much, much more.

You need not be a member of United Methodist Women in order to contribute to the bazaar. We are not too proud to accept donations from all members of the church and, believe it or not, that even includes the men.  If you have an organization that is interested in using the Bazaar as a fundraiser, the UMW’s only request is that 20% of your proceeds go to the UMW to support their mission efforts.

So if this sounds like an area that piques your interest, then please fire up your talents for the fall Bazaar. It’s a great opportunity to fellowship and raise funds for the work of the Lord.

If you enjoy sewing, woodworking, creating dried arrangements, etc., or cooking a favorite recipe, bring the fruit of your creative talents to the UMW Bazaar at First United Methodist in Warner Robins.

If you would like more information on the Bazaar contact the current President of United Methodist Women by calling the church office at (478) 923-3737, ext. 101.
