Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan’s Purse—Operation Chistmas Child brings excitement, joy, and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love.

The shoe boxes are identified for specific age groups (2 to 14 years) and gender, either boy or girl.  Specific care is taken to ensure that the toys and gifts are appropriate for the Christmas season and that they do not offend the sensitivities of any country or culture.

Last year, Warner Robins FUMC’s part of that global mission would have been the blessing that comes from knowing that our 472 children were reminded of the Love that God has for them.

This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on mission project while remaining focused on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.

This is the perfect ministry if you have the willingness to dedicate a few hours shopping for gifts, wrapping packages and helping to load up boxes of boxes and delivering them to the collection point. That process starts a journey that will hopefully end with a child’s realizing that he or she is truly a loved child of God.

Operation Christmas Child operates annually, starting in the Fall to ensure Christmas deliveries.
