Our services begin at 8:30 and 10:50 am. Our greeters will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have.
If you have small children, you may want to take advantage of our safe and secure children's services designed just for them.
As you enter the sanctuary, our ushers will welcome you, hand you our information-filled bulletin and direct you to your seat.
Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the service!
What to Wear:
At First, we are more interested in feeling comfortable than meeting a certain dress expectation. If you look around you will see a wide ranging variety.
There are plenty of causally dressed folk with open collars - from business casual to blue jeans.
In the summer months shorts are not uncommon.
Some of our church members do choose to dress up for worship. For some the more formal attire is part of preparing for worship.
The neat thing about First is that we blend so well. Our focus is on entering God’s presence with praise and thanksgiving ready to be transformed by the encounter with God’s love and grace.
Come however you feel comfortable – the most important thing is to come!

Our Television Ministry serves as a vital means of communicating Christ. The purpose of the TV Ministry is to serve the needs of those people in our community who are home-bound, who are in the hospital, or who are not able to attend regular worship services for whatever reason. Volunteers are always in need to be trained for one of the many tasks necessary to keep First United Methodist Church "on the air".
