The Cheerful Cherubs Preschool began in September, 1950. At Cheerful Cherubs Preschool we will nurture the whole child in a fun and loving atmosphere; encouraging each child to develop his or her potential through new experiences including physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual.
Our teachers bring years of teaching experience and education to the program. They are professional, loving adults who create a nurturing and challenging environment for your child.
INSTRUCTIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Children grow and develop at different rates and through different learning styles.
At Cheerful Cherubs, children are given the opportunity to explore, create, and problem solve with materials that are developmentally appropriate. Classroom activities are based on a play and task learning atmosphere.
Children are taught basic concepts through the use of games, puzzles, manipulatives, art, and other hands-on experiences. Our age appropriate learning objectives address the whole child with the goal of establishing a foundation and passion for learning.
Continuous assessment of each child's progress provides invaluable feedback to both the teacher and the parent.
