for WR FUMC United Methodist Men's Unit Article I - NAME The name of the unit is First United Methodist Church United Methodist Men's Unit of Warner Robins, Georgia chartered and, certified annually by the General Commission on United Methodist Men. Article II - PURPOSE United Methodist Men shall be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily his will. Its primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships. Article III - CONCERNS

Article VI - MEETINGS This unit shall hold meetings as specified in the By-Laws. The meeting held during the month of October shall be designated as the annual meeting. The election of officers shall take place at this meeting. Additional meetings of United Methodist Men may be called by the president, pastor, or by a majority of the Executive Committee. Article VII - OFFICERS The officers shall be: President, Vice President of Evangelism, Vice President of Missions, Vice President of Spiritual Growth and Treasurer. They shall be elected at the annual meeting. Article VIII - ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMITTEES AND TASK FORCES The unit shall establish such committees and task forces it deems necessary in order to carry out the business and objectives of the unit. Article IX - EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The Executive Committee shall be composed of the following: The officers and all committee chairs. The pastor and the lay leader are ex officio members of the Executive Committee with power to vote. General Administration and supervision of the affairs of the unit are vested in the Executive Committee. Article X - CORRELATION The work of the unit shall be correlated with the total program of the church as initiated and directed by the Council on Ministries and Administrative Board, under leadership of the pastor. Article XI - FINANCES The program of the unit shall be financed by such means as the members may approve on the recommendation of the Executive Committee. Article XII - CLUSTER UNIT Because of too few men, low interest, or for other reasons it may be desirable for the men from one or more churches to come together and form a Cluster Unit of United Methodist Men with appropriate officers. Article XIII - BY-LAWS By-Laws in harmony with the provisions of this Constitution may be adopted by two-thirds majority vote of all members present at a regular or called meeting provided proper advance notice be given of such proposed change.
